Gore Valley Trail

The Gore Valley Trail is part of the Eagle County Core Trail system.  The 12-mile route is a combination of attached bike lanes, detached trails and residential streets and winds through open space, parks and recreation facilities, as well as Vail’s core village areas.  The trail, named after the creek that meanders its way through Vail, connects to the Eagle Valley Trail at the west end of Vail, and to the Vail Pass Trail at the base of Vail Pass to the east.

 Vail Bike Hub’s recommendation:

Start in Vail Village and head east to enjoy a relatively flat out and back ride. Highlights of the ride include, Betty Ford Gardens, Vail Golf Club, great views of Gore Creek, and the Gore Range.

The ride is best enjoyed on hybrid/cruiser bikes or e-bikes.

Vail Mountain

Like most of the Vail Valley, Vail Mountain is best explored on bike. Enjoy amazing views and adventure for all ability levels. Vail Mountain has plenty of trails for all level of riders.

Vail Bike Hub’s recommendation:

While we are big fans of all of the trails on Vail Mountain, our favorite trails are the ones accessed from the top of the Mountain that bring you down into East Vail or Minturn.
